What’s included in a recording session?

Every project is different, and so is every session here. You can dry-hire the room for complete independence, or work with one of our associated producers, engineers, or songwriters. Whether you’re starting with pre-production sketches or finishing with mastering, we shape the session around your music - a blank canvas with everything in place to capture it.

How do I book time at A Sharp?

The quickest way is to call us on (02) 9153 9988 and speak with Max, our Studio Manager. You can also book online via any form on this site, or email us at music@asharp.com.au. We’ll confirm the details and get you set for the day.

Do you offer packages or blocked rates?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Sessions are available as half-day (five hours), full-day (ten hours), or lockout (24 hours). Extended bookings attract reduced rates, and we offer early-bird discounts for sessions booked more than 30 days ahead.

Can I record with my own team?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. A Sharp is designed to be as dry-hire-friendly as possible, with all major DAWs - Pro Tools, Logic, Ableton Live, FL Studio - ready to go on our studio system. Assistants and runners can be booked to support your session as needed.

Can I get mixing or mastering services?

Of course! We offer both attended and unattended mixing and mastering. You’ll be matched with one of our associated producers whose background and style align with your music, ensuring the final result reflects your sound perfectly.

We sure do! Many of our most memorable sessions have been with independent artists. Our team is here to guide you through the recording process, making sure it’s as inspiring and productive as it is professional.
