Who we are
This website is operated by AKA Recording Studios Pty Ltd, trading as A Sharp Recording Studio (“we”, “us”). We are committed to handling your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
What we collect
When you enquire, book a session or tour, or join our mailing list, we collect the information you give us: your name, email address, phone number, and details about your project. We do not collect payment details through this website - invoicing is handled separately via Xero and Square.
How we use it
We use your information to respond to your enquiry, manage your booking, and - only if you have opted in - send you studio news and event announcements. Every marketing email we send includes a working unsubscribe link, as required by the Spam Act 2003 (Cth). We never sell your information.
Who we share it with
Enquiry submissions are delivered to us via a form-processing provider and our email systems. Booking invoices are issued through Xero, and card/AfterPay payments are processed by Square - each under their own privacy policies. We do not otherwise disclose your personal information unless required by law.
Analytics
We may use website analytics to understand how visitors use this site. Analytics data is aggregated and does not identify you personally.
Access, correction and complaints
