Daniel believes in the pure genetics of audio; a moment of sound should mystify the most enthusiastic audiophile and capture the heart and mind of a listener. With these philosophies in mind, Daniel has dedicated his life to working in the audio industry, pursuing his passion both professionally and academically whilst working alongside high-profile clients and independent artists.
As a director of AKA Music Pty Ltd, and principal consultant for AKA Acoustics, Daniel’s obsession with sound and passion for growth through innovation has allowed him to develop ongoing business partnerships and research opportunities with some of the world’s most renowned technical institutions, manufacturers, and creative personnel worldwide.
Daniel’s academic achievements include a Scholarship at The Australian Institute of Music, where he studied both Composition & Music Production, and Audio Engineering, a Master of Architectural Science (Audio & Acoustics) from The University of Sydney, and a Certificate in Communication Acoustics & Psychoacoustics from RWTH Aachen University, Germany.
His extensive professional career has equipped Daniel with an extremely-high level of motivation, creativity, and independent thinking. Daniel has spent the last 12 years working in architectural acoustics & recording studio design, music production, live sound, musical theatre and system design. Daniel is also a chairperson of the Sydney Section of the Audio Engineering Society (AES) and is listed under their directory of members in Acoustics, Psychoacoustics, Architectural Acoustics & Musical Acoustics.
